Baby's home

Laina's home, and getting accustomed to her new surroundings. She had a much rougher night last night, not letting mom and dad get much of any sleep... but hopefully she'll do better tonight.

We're trying to apply the baby-language idea from http://www.dunstanbaby.com/
(my mom told us about it) to try to decipher her cries. She made an "eh" sound, which is supposed to mean "I'm gassy", so Jenna turned her over on her belly tp burp her. We found out she's pretty strong already, and can pick up her head and look around like you can see in the picture below.. What a cutie.



I also realized I never posted these pics of our house, so starting with the nursery, here we go:

Our bedroom, which we repainted from its previous fuscia/hot pink color. Coincidentally, we're eating mint n' chip ice cream right now, which is what I think of when I wake up in the morning in this room...
