I made a list of all the stuff I planned to get done while I had no other responsibilities, but I haven't accomplished any of them yet (I forgot the olympics were going to be on!). Maybe this weekend.
I have, however, rediscovered my inner fish and gone to the Rec Center to swim laps two consecutive evenings in a row! Michael Phelps made it look so easy I had to give it a shot... let me tell you, 2000 yards and around an hour at a time is about it for me in my current sorry condition... I heard that he swims about 80,000 yards per week, 5 hours a day, so I've got about 76,000 yards and 33 hours to go by next Tuesday... Today was easier than yesterday, so hopefully tomorrow is even easier than today.
Incidentally, speaking of Phelps, I can't tell you how happy I was to hear about the whole 'goggles filling up with water' incident. I'm watching right now and it just happened again! I had a long bout with that my senior year of high school, and could never figure out why they were constantly filling up after I dove in. I even had a huge picture on the front page of the local sports section of me swimming butterfly - goggles half-full. Its good to know the greatest swimmer in history can have the same obnoxious problem...
Anyway, that, work, eating dinner, and watching some olympics is about all I have time for... so no massive projects are likely to get done before Monday night...
Since I miss my ladies, I figured I'd throw a little montage of Laina from this past weekend:

I love the picture of Godzilla Laina with the itty wagon!!! I had In n Out last week and it wasn't good! I know, crazy! It was too salty, I ended up throwing half of it away. My mom was going to take me there on the way back to the airport, but I decided the bad experience was the way to leave it. No longing for a salty burger you know, but if it would have been fabulous I would already miss it. Oh, and Mike spent 18 hours on a surprise project for me while I was gone. I'll post about it later this week. Of course he used the hours of 8pm-12am to get it done, but it was a sweet thing to come home to even if he was exhausted. Enjoy your time alone with Ella!
