Cow Town

A friend and I were walking down the street yesterday to get some lunch and saw a scene much like this one (I didn't have a camera, so this was a photo from last year)

The National Western Stock Show is going on right now in Denver, and apparently every year there is a cattle drive and parade through downtown... Also, unbeknownst to me, everyone is supposed to dress "western" on the day of the cattle drive.

Yeehawww!

That is AWESOME!! I told Jon that no matter what, when we move to Denver we are GOING to the STOCK SHOW!! And add in a PARADE? It's too much!

Jay! What is with these posts? The last one had me packin' my bags to head East, and this one had my unpacking! I grew up with the cowboys and chose to move away...I need another Colorado selling point...start thinking!

Don't worry, it only happens once a year... and they're talking about moving the Stock Show east by the airport...

If that doesn't help, maybe the fact that some of the world's best ski resorts are just a couple hours drive will get the bags packing!

And we have squirrels.

And bunnies.
