Christmas Recap

Two days before Christmas we had some lovely snow. Christmas eve was picture perfect and we made snow angels outside. On the left is Laina's first ever snow angel!

Even a day after it fell, the snow was so perfect that you could see every single snowflake. I've never seen anything like it! Then before bed we let Laina open one present (the PJs you see below).

Her new kitchen and accessories compliments of Great Grandma Sally and Great Aunt Nancy - Thank you!!

Above, she's enjoying her new building set that even came with a car and driver. Laina and Daddy couldn't be happier!

Some more of Laina's loot which included a cool wooden garbage truck (that Jay had to put together piece by piece), some baby My Little Ponies, and some horses (with one old one getting in the picture somehow). Many thanks to Laina's aunt, uncle and cousins, Grammy and Papa, and Grandma and Grandpa.

And then the shot of us having dinner, which was roast leg of lamb with caramelized onions and cherries.

It was a wonderful holiday and we loved spending it as a family and enjoying the moments. I'm so thankful that Jay was able to take Christmas Eve off in addition to Christmas day, making it a gloriously long weekend. Looking back at these pictures reminds me what a happy day and weekend it was!
