after over a YEAR of knitting, Laina's baby blanket is finally done! I knew it would take a while, but over a year? That is crazy slow. Of course I wasn't working on it consistently, especially during the whole move/transition to a real house thing. And then Laina was born and then things were even more crazy. Now that she is on somewhat of a more regular routine, I had a little time to work on it. I decided just to finish it up where I was at, instead of putting on another foot or so like the pattern calls for. Oh well, it's just a little smaller than it's supposed to be. But I wanted to be done with it...after looking at the same blanket for over a year I'm already sick of it and Laina hasn't even used it yet! (Well besides me taking the pics of her on it). I did think it was funny that Laina happens to have a camouflaged outfit for it...

So cute! Jenna, you should be proud of your accomplishment. It has been a crazy busy year and you still managed to create an heirloom for Laina!
You didn't plan the camo outfit? So cute. I am glad you can stick you knitting kneedles in a drawer and put that energy to something else, like taking a nap!
Are you sure there was a baby on that blanket? All I saw were yellow stripes. Very cute blanket though!
