How has four months flown by?? We had Thanksgiving and Christmas and New Year's and didn't blog about a single one! So, here are some pics from the past events and a little update on family life.
Lia is potty trained! She basically trained herself. We were going to start pretty soon here anyways, but she just decided one day about 2 weeks ago to keep her diaper dry and pee in the potty so the next day I packed up all the diapers and put her in big girl undies and she is done! She's my little rock star!
Laina is loving school and is reading in front of her class! She has brought two books to school thus far to read for the other kids in circle time. She read Old Hat, New Hat and Brown Bear, Brown Bear! We are so so proud of her!
This month (Feb), I ran a 5K in the snow and Laina even ran the little Kid's Dash after! Both girls also loved sledding down a small hill in our neighborhood!

In January, Jay and I got to take a trip down to Pagosa Springs for our 10 year anniversary and we snowboarded at Wolf Creek. Thank you Grandma and Grandpa Ali for staying with the girls and giving us the gift of some time alone and thank you Grammy and Papa Hoskinson for the condo!

December was so much fun with Christmastime. Laina has been into drawing and drew some awesome pictures of dragons and volcanoes and girls. Lia loves playing baby dolls.
November included a trip to California where we visited with relatives up in the Sacramento area and then headed down to my and Jay's parents' places.
